Cookie policy

Last updated 11 Oct 2026

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. This policy explains which ones our website uses and why.

The cookies we use

Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently use analytics cookies. Because these cookies are essential for the website to work, they do not need your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

  • payload-token — set only when a member of staff or a customer logs in to our content management system or customer portal, to keep you signed in. It is removed when you log out or the session expires.
  • __prerender_bypass — set only for logged-in staff previewing unpublished content. It lasts for the browser session.
  • Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm and cf_clearance) — may be set by our security and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, to protect the website from malicious traffic. __cf_bm expires after 30 minutes.

Third-party content

Some fonts on this website are delivered by Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address so it can send the font files to your browser, but no cookies are set.

The share buttons on our news and blog posts are simple links. They only send information to LinkedIn, X, Facebook or WhatsApp if you click them, and those services’ own cookie policies then apply.

If we change our approach

If we start using analytics or any other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, logging in to the customer portal will not work.
