Having recently completed transition to ISO14001:2015 we are now very pleased to announce that we have also successfully completed our transition for quality standards ISO9001:2015 & IATF16949:2016.

We were audited for ISO14001 in early July and have successfully transitioned to ISO14001:2015. Our auditor stated in his summary:

“The system for environmental management has been organised in line with the requirements of ISO14001-2015. A review to the new requirements was conducted. A satisfactory visit, with no issues or concerns identified. The Management Systems have been effectively developed and discussions confirmed understanding, commitment & implementation by the Senior Management Team."

We have just completed more IATF16949 training and we are very pleased to say we now have four IATF 1st party auditors on site.

We have been working with a delightful and knowledgeable team of consultants led by Bob Hughes at Temple QMS who are supporting us in our transition. More IATF news to follow shortly.

We are still in the transition phase for the latest version of the automotive quality standard which is IATF 16949:2016.  The standard incorporates all the elements of the general quality standard ISO 9001:2015. All our processes are wittten so watch this space for more news in the summer. GE Starr is at the forefront of quality management systems.

We successfully passed both our reaccreditations to the Automotive QMS TS16949:2009 and General Quality QMS 9001:2008  in September this year. We have now updated our certificates for interested parties having only just received the certificates from our 3rd party audit provider. TS auditors are in short supply hence why our audit was later than usual. We are now in transition for our Automotive QMS which has been updated and renamed IATF 16949:2016.
